We started decorating our tree the sunday after Thanksgiving. The day that we came home from my parent's house. We couldn't wait any longer. This year I let the kids do the entire tree. Except for the lights. Jeff and I did those, and then the kids did all the decorations. Its a lot of fun decorating and celebrating with the kids now that they are older and can do a LOT more on their own, without so much help. This is actually the first year that Kaity would actually sit on Santa's lap. She was always scared of him before and start crying.

Matthew even got to put the star on the tree. He felt very special about that.
