Wall Circles Craft!

I saw on a TV show these circles that you hang on the wall for decoration! I thought it looked really cool, so I tried to figure out how to do it myself! I found some embroidery hoops and painted them and used some sticky mounting tape to put them up! It was very simple and I think it really adds nicely to their playroom! What do you think? I can even add more around the room later on if I wanted to!

Swimming!

Last weekend we found Reaney Pool! It is an outside pool here in Pullman! I didn't even know that it was here! It has a pretty cool playground right next to it and a really big park! Then inside the pool gates, there are 2 swimming pools! One is for intertubes and floaties that you want to take in and the other one uses half of it for swimming which goes as shallow as 2 1/2 feet! So my kids can touch the bottom! And the other half of the pool has a low board and a high diving board! It seemed like one of those old fashioned kind of pools! We are going there again this weekend with Jeff's mom! I'm definately going to bring my camera and take pictures of us there! But I did take a picture of the kids when we came back! They were very worn out! They just collapsed on the couch!

4th of July!

For the 4th of July this year we live in Pullman, WA, so we decided to try and find things to do in Pullman! We went driving around looking for some fun parks to play at! We did find a few that were pretty fun!
The weather was pretty crazy though! It was kind of cold and very windy! You can tell by my hair in the picture below! It was all over the place!

TERRE VIEW PARK
Kaity refused to look at the camera and Matthew is making a very goofy face! Silly kids!
They had this really cool swing at one of the parks! It was a chair! I had never seen anything like this before! It was fun to sit in it with Kaity and swing together!
KRUEGAL PARK
You don't see many parks these days that has a merry-go-round! My kids saw it and didn't know what it did! Once we showed them how it worked they LOVED it!
Matthew loved pretending to be a spider on this giant spider web!
AT THE FIREWORKS SHOW
While we waited for the fireworks show to begin, there were some fire trucks and ambulances that you could look at and climb up in and see everything! They even had some firemen outfits that were kid sized, and Matthew got to try them on! H ethought that it was soooo cool!
Here we are laying on our blanket freezing to death waiting for the fireworks to begin! It was supposed to start any second! Sorry about the pictures! They are also from my cell phone!
Here we wanted to make sure the flash worked! What do you think? Did it work?

July 3rd!

The day before the 4th of July we went to my sister's new house to celebrate my mom's birthday and to do a few fireworks! I know the pictures aren't the best! They were from my cell phone! I forgot my camera! Kaity was afraid of the fireworks because they were loud and Matthew loved them but had to cover his ears! They both enjoyed the smoke bombs though! After it went of they would run out in the street with their cousins and run in the smoke! It was very cute!

New Hair do!

For the Fourth of July, this is how I fixed Kaity's hair! I thought it was pretty cute! She got a lot of compliments on it too! I've done something like this before with the two rows of pony tails going down the side of her head, but this time I just connected them in the middle! Hope you enjoy!

Kaity's ABC's

Here's Kaity being so dang cute, I had to share it with everybody else! Hope you enjoy her singing her ABC's!

Slip-n-Slide

Before we moved our neighbor got out her slip-n-slide for everybody to play on since it was the first hot day of the year! My kids have never played on a slip-n-slide before, but Matthew just ran over and started playing with the other kids on it! He had a lot of fun! Kaity doesn't like getting wet! When we go to a swimming pool or something, she always just stays on the sidelines! So I couldn't get her to go down the slip-n-slide, but she did get brave enough to go to the bottom of it and touch the water with her hands!

When they were done playing on the slip-n-slide they had a blast with the lake it created at the bottom of the hill!
