Swimming!!

Cami and Mike came over with their girls just to visit. It was such a hot day that the kids ended jumped in our swimming pool with all their clothes on and everything. They had so much fun! I'm so glad that our kids get along so well.

Jeff's Birthday!

July 24th was Jeff's 27th birthday. We had a lot of fun we went to the waterpark all day and then that evening we had a little party for him. Cami and Mike and their girls came over to celebrate with us, and Jeff's mom came up to visit from Missouri. It was really fun having her here.

Sicky Boy!!

A little bit ago Kaity got sick and then Matthew got sick and then I got sick, but out of all of us, I think Matthew milked it for every little thing much better. I guess that kind of thing just comes naturally because I sure didn't teach him!! =)

The Puppy!

One of Jeff's friends came to visit the other day and they broght their puppy! It's a 4 week old cocker spaniel puppy! Matthew loved it. He was constantly holding it and petting it. I wish I could get him a pet!

The Baby Birds

We had A mommy bird sitting on her eggs for weeks now and a few days ago they finnally hatched! While the mommy bird was out getting some food we took some pictures real quick. You can tell that they're hungry! The mommy came back while we were taking pictures and she was mad at us. We ran inside really quick! They're already gone now though! They grew up and left the nest! It didn't take very long for them to leave. If only my kids could grow up that fast! Just joking!! = )

Strawberry Whipped Sensation!

I made this dessert over the holiday weekend and it turned out great. I would recommend everyone to make it!!

4 cups fresh strawberries, divided
1 can (14 oz) Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed, divided
8 oreo cookies, finely chopped
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
LINE a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan. Mash 2 cups of the strawberries in large bowl. Add condensed milk, juice and 2 cups of the whipped topping; mix well. pour into prepared pan.
MIX chopped cookies and butter. Spoon over whipped topping mixture. Cover with ends of foil and gently press cookie mixture into whipped topping mixture. Freeze 6 hours or until firm.
INVERT dessert onto serving plate when ready to serve; remove pan and foil. Spread remaining whipped topping onto top and sides of dessert. Slice remaining 2 cups strawberries; arrange over dessert. Store leftovers in freezer.

Sparklers!

For the Fourth of July after we went swimming at the lake we had a fun time at home with Sparklers! Matthew and Kaity were both scared of the sparklers. They both touched it once and thats it!!

A Day At The Lake!!

On the Fourth of July we spent the afternoon up at Priest Lake! It was a lot of fun we all had a great time, even though it actually rained on us for a little while! My kids had never been to a beach before so I'm glad that we went and let them go swimming. It was FREEZING though!! No body lasted in the water for too long!!

Making Cookies!

The kids love helping me cook in the kitchen. Here we are making chocolate chip cookies. There favorite thing was licking the blenders. Matthew did very well at rolling the cookie dough into balls.

Matthew Helping Kaity!

Here is a video of Matthew taking care of Kaity! Kaity was a little upset about something and Matthew is trying to cheer her up! Matthew helps postion her shirt and then trys to get her to knock over the legos and then at the very end of the video you can see Matthew putting the legos back together! He is a very sweet little boy!

The Kids Playing Together!

I love watching the kids play together. Mattew takes such good care of Kaity most of the time! He loves trying to be the 'daddy'! He's constantly following her around making sure that she doesn't get into anything that she's not supposed to and then I'll hear him say "No No Baby" and then he leads her somewhere else (Whether she likes it or not, which most the time she doesn't)!
