Witch's Fingers!

I decided to get in the Halloween spirit by making some spooky Halloween cookies and these were the ones I decided on! They're supposed to be witch's fingers! Matthew and Kaity won't eat them! They get to grossed out when they look at them! funny, huh!? If you would like to make them your self you can get the recipe here! Enjoy!

Rearranging!

We have decided to switch bedrooms with the kids! The kids' room was soooo much bigger than ours, but we didn't switch just for fun though! The kids' bedroom would get so cold at night! Like down in the 50's! So we already had to have the heater on in there! But as for our bedroom it would always be so hot! We wouldn't even sleep with blankets on! You can even feel a hot spot on the floor in our bedroom! We're thinking that it has something to do with the hot water heater pipes or something! So we switched with the kids' and now our room is HUGE!! I swear we could fit a couch in there! I love it! The kids' is a little more squished together but they only go in the to sleep! So it's no big deal for them! but we haven't had to turn the heater on yet! yay!
I thought it was so nice that my dresser fit perfectly in the little area!

My next little project has to be getting rid of the white walls in my bedroom! All I have are the mirrors above my bed! All the other walls are sooo bare! If anybody has any suggestions that would look nice in here, I would love to hear them!

Triangle Headband!

This is pretty easy to figure out just by looking at it! You just section the hair out in front and then section out triangles! 3 or 4 on each side! When you put the elastic in the hair then you do a pull through thing, I used my topsy-tail, and then do another triangle! Does that make sense? I hope so! Hope you enjoy this one!

Framing Project!

Here is the next project that I worked on Yesterday! Yes, can you tell I get bored at home! :) Well, I got this idea from my friend krystal! I got some big frames at the dollar store and painted them white and some little frames and painted them black! Then I order some black and white pictures from Wal-mart! Then I went to that picture store at the Palouse Mall and got a huge piece of Mat Board for only $7! Then you just cut out where you want your pictures to go and then frame it! It was super easy and I love how it looks! We nailed the black frames to the white frames! I thought it gave a unique look to them!

Our New Entertainment Center!

Today, Jeff had a day off from work and he gets very restless! He can't just enjoy a day off! He always has to be doing something! So, on his days off is when we get things done! :) Today he wanted to paint the entertainment center black! He thought it would just go well with everything that we have! All of our electronics are black or silver! So thats what we did! I have to admit that I was a little hesitant about it, but now that we're done, I have to say that I actually really like it! It really brings out the TV! What does everyone else think?

Here is a further away shot of it!

The Twisted Bun!

I love this kind of bun! It is super easy and it looks different from a normal bun! This style makes it look more fancy I think! First you just start with a pony tail!

Then you do a two-strand twist! You twist the two seperate strands to the right and then you wrap the strands together going to the left! I hope that makes sense!
Then you just wrap the twist around into a bun and then secure it with another elastic! Then you use a couple of bobby pins to secure it to the top of the head!
Then you add a nice bow or flower to it! This is one of the flowers that I made!
After doing to bun that I showed up above, I thought that it would look even cooler if I used three twists instead of just one! Here is how it turned out!
I really like it this way! Hope everyone else likes it too!

Halloween Decorations!

Now that it is Halloween time and cold outside! I'm usually stuck inside the house looking for things to do! So, I thought I would get into the Halloween Spirit and get some decorations up around the house! Here is what I did:

The Hatching Spider Egg

The Mini Pumpkin Spider Candle Holder
I'm thinking about spraypainting them black! What do you guys think about that? Here it just shows that it is a real pumpkin that I just hollowed out!
The Window Pumpkin Face
This is my bedroom window from the outside! Made with Black Construction Paper and orange tissue paper! Then you leave the light on in the bedroom and light up the night! :)
The Flying Bats

Hope you like my Halloween Decorations! If you have any questions on how I did any of them just let me know and I can tell you how to do them! :)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

Kaity's Favorite Place!

This is one of Kaity's favorite places to play! She loves it when the blinds are open and the curtain is closed! She loves to go infront of the curtain and play with her toys on the window sill while she looks outside! It is so cute I think! I love it!

Ball Python!

Today we had to go to Pets Are People Too to get some food for Mimi (our rat) and, of course, as soon as we walked in the store Matthew ran to the snakes! He is very fascinated with them! Jeff pretended like we were interested in buying one and they got it out and let us hold it! The one that they suggeseted would be the best for kids is the Ball Python! This was only a baby python! They say that these python get to be about 5 1/2 feet long and pretty big around! Thats what Matthew is holding in the pictures! My little boy is holding a python!!! I was not very happy about this! It made me nervous, but Matthew loved it! He was so excited to be able to actually hold a snake! The only really scary thing is that I heard Jeff telling someone last night that the next pet we're going to get is a snake!!! I'm just glad that just the snake was $90! Thats not including the tank and everything that we would need for it! So I can safely say that it won't be anytime soon! : )

Pumpkin Painting!

Yesterday we painted mini pumpkins! Matthew and Kaity had a lot of fun doing it! I didn't help them at all! They did the entire thing all by themself! It was super cute to watch them do it! Jeff was gone at work but he painted one when he got home!
Can you tell who's is who?

Here's the order from left to right: Heather's, Jeff's, Matthew's, and Kaity's!
