Kaity's New Dresses!

For Kaity's birthday, my mom got Kaity two really cute dresses! Last Sunday, this is the dress that Kaity wanted to wear! She even posed and let me take some pictures of her while she smiled so big! Thanks mom! I LOVE the dresses! I do't think Kaity could look any cuter than she does in these pictures!

She feels like such a big girl in her new boots as well! Aren't they adorable!
In this picture Matthew insisted on taking a picture also, but he refused to smile! Silly boy!

My New Bow Holder!

One of the shelves in my craft space fell down last night! It made a big crash! So thats what I did all last night, cleaning up the mess! The whole space was pretty messy, too! I had been wanting t clean it up for awhile, but I am a procrastinator! So last night I cleaned it all up, and would you believe it, I had a table in there! Never would have guessed it! :) Well, I had a lot of my hair bows laying around that I idn't have room for anywhere! So in one of my closets I had an old picture frame that I got at the dollar store and of course I have extra ribbon laying around! So I gotout my hot glue gun and I glued the ribbon peices to the back of the frame! Thats it! It only took me like 15-20 minutes to do! I put mine and Kaity's favorite bows on this one! Even Jeff was saying how much he liked it! And now I can say that all of my bows are hanging up on something!

Here's the back of the bow holder to show what it looks like! All I did was glue! Easy!

Cute Valentines!

Yesterday I made these cute valentines that I found on How Does She. If you look close enough you can tell that in order to get the candy, you have to go through the maze! I thought it was clever! All you need to make it is: scissors, a ziplock baggie, some cardstock, and some candy! Just print off 'You are a 'maze' ing!' on the paper. Cut the baggie so that you only have one side and cut the paper to the size that you want it. Then sew the two sides and the bottom first. Put in your candy and then sew the lines through the maze leaving a gap at the end. Make sure you leave an opening on the top of the card for the candy to come out! Hope you enjoy!

Kaity's Big Announcement!

Kaity is now POTTY TRAINED!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited about not having to buy or change any more diapers!! I have been changing diapers for 4 and 1/2 years! I gotta tell ya! Its a GREAT feeling! I started potty training her about a week before her 3rd birthday (January 20th). It was the absolute worst week of my entire life! She was sooo stubborn about it! She would refuse to go in the toilet! She would cry and scream and everything! There were soo many times that I just wanted to give up and put a diaper on her! She would try and hold it so long that she eventually completely stopped going 'number 2'! I know! Gross! So I had to take her to the doctor for it and guess what the doctor said, "Just put her back in a diaper so that she'll go." Whats up with that? Well, Kaity got her subborness from someone! Thats right! ME! So, I made myself stick with it! I was determined to have her potty trained before her birthday, so I only had a week! But I did it! Kaity hasn't had an accident since before her birthday! It has been a great accomplishment! She is a LOT happier, too!

Kaitlyn's 3rd Birthday!

Kaity has turned 3 years old today! I can't believe that it has been three years since little Kaity joined our family. I couldn't imagine my life without her. There are so many times a day that she makes me smile and laugh. She is such a little girly-girl. She loves to paint her nails, let me fix up her hair, and her favorite thing ever is to color. Wasn't she the cutest and chubbiest little baby you have ever seen? I know I know, every mom thinks that about her kids! It seems like just yesterday that little Kaity looked like this:

Here is what cake we got for her. She chose Spongebob herself. She absolutely loved it.

Here she is opening her presents. She got a lot of nice gifts! She got a big Spongebob doll and blanket, coloring book and crayons, some really nice dresses, a stuffed horse that she sleeps with everynight, a piano, a mermaid for the bathtub, candyland board game, and Lion King 2 DVD! She has watched Lion King 2 every single day since Sunday (when we had our party)! Lion King 1 and 2 are her absolute favorite movies!

Here she is blowing out her candles. I think she did more spitting than blowing, but whatever she did, she got the job done!

Out of all the toys that she got for her birthday, the Spongebob toys that came with the cake has got to be her favorites! She couldn't even stop playing with them to eat her cake and ice cream.

Here they are after the party and they are still playing with the Spongebob cake decorations! They both LOVED them!

Baskin Robbins Night!

I just found out that Baskin Robbins has a Tuesday dollar scoop night! So of course yesterday we had to go! Matthew and Kaity loved it! We don't usually go out for ice cream so they thought that it was a real treat! I think we might have to make this a weekly thing! Anybody else interested in going with us? I absolutely LOVE this picture of Matthew and me!

Isn't Kaity's face priceless! She is such a goof ball!

Christmas Morning!

Well, I figured that its about time I posted Christmas morning on here! Sorry its been so long! We had a great christmas this year! Matthew and Kaity both got great gifts from Santa! Kaity got a bunch of My Littlest Pet Shop animals and houses, a baby, a (fake) walking hamster in a ball, and lots of coloring books and crayons! Matthew got an Awesome dinosaur house and dinosaurs to go with it! He even got a big walking and roaring dinosaur! He absolutely loves them! Hes really into dinosaurs right now! They played with their toys all morning until I made them eat something for breakfast at around noon! And then I made them get dressed and ready for the day! Then we went over to my sister's house and we had so much good food there and we played games (mostly the new Super Mario Brothers for the Wii, such a fun game!!) It turned out to be one of the best Christmases I've had in a long time! It gets really fun when the kids get old enough to really get into it! Matthew was soooo excited now that he understood all about Santa and everything! Hope everybody else had a great christmas as well! There is a video at the bottom of the kids see their gifts for the first time! I thought it was funny that Kaity went straight for Matthew's toys before she even noticed her own!

The Water Spout!

The other day we went to the Appalousa Horse Museum and they had a water spout there that wasn't turned off all the way! So it was constantly dripping, and it had been an unusually cold and freezing week! So this is what it made! I thought it looked pretty awesome, so I had to get a picture of it!

Shoveling Snow!

Matthew is always trying to be like his Daddy! One day when it snowed (by the way, this is the most snow we've had all winter) Matthew grabbed the shovel and started shoveling! He was so cute doing it! He's going to be a big help when he's older!

My Puzzle Globe!

One of my gifts from my parents was this puzzle globe! I thought that it was pretty cool! I always wanted a world globe, and the fact that this was a puzzle was even better! Thanks mom and dad! I took pictures as I was putting it together so everyone could see the progress of it being put together!
