Rolling Over

Here is proof that my super baby rolled over from his tummy to the left and then to the right at 16 weeks old (3 months and 4 weeks)

I'm so glad that we got this on video. I can't believe how big he is getting. After this video he rolled over like 6 more times so it wasn't a fluke. It was fun that he went to the left side and the right side.

Tyler is now at the stage where he grabs for things and brings it to his mouth. I think it is super cute. I had to post all these pictures because I couldn't pick just one.

 

Kaity is FIVE

I can't believe it! There must be some mistake! She was just born ans now she is 5 years old! She is getting so big! One of my favorite things that she does is sing. She is constantly singing some kind of song. She has such a big personality. She is a great big sister to Tyler and a great little sister to Matthew. She is caring and nice to everybody. I couldn't have asked for a better little girl. I'm so glad that she is in my life. She makes me laugh and smile everyday.

Here is what she did for her birthday,

I put a '5' in her hair so that everybody would know that she is now 5!

Of course she had to wear the skirt Tara got her. (She tries to wear it everyday)

I know its not very fancy, but I made her a candyland cake out of starburst, licorice, skittles, and M&Ms

I made candies and suckers for the decorations

...that led to the goody bags that were filled with toothbrushes and toothpaste and flossers! :)

Here are two of her friends that could make it to the party, Summerlynn and Chloe.

School got cancelled that day because of the snow, so Matthew was there too.

On the left side is the squinkie zinkie and on the right is a normal sized squinkie. 

She wanted to show how little the zinkies are. 

The zinkies even came with tweezers and a magnifying glass.

Then we had another party that night with Cami and her family. This time we got to use the candles.

It took her 2 tries to blow out 5 candles! :)

And yes we had to use the licorice straws for this party too.

Then we set up the candyland game and played it again.

Then we had some questionably fun time with some balloons.

Rapunzel Rapunzel, Let Down Your Hair!

Cami got Kaity the Rapunzel hair wig for her birthday. Its fun to see her in such long hair! She absolutely LOVES it of course. Tara got her the Rapunzel dress too (pictures soon). She keeps asking me if she can wear them to school. Then she gets upset when I tell her no. She loves them so much. Thanks Cami and Tara.

Also for her birthday, I got to take her to the movies, just her and me, for a girl's day out! We went and saw Beauty and the Beast in 3D! She loved it! It was actually pretty cool in 3D! Even though we had the whole movie memorized. :)

Playing in the Snow

Last week we got sooooo much snow. The kids only had school one day, all other days were cancelled. We ended up getting around 15 inches in one day. Matthew and Kaity had a lot of fun playing in the deep deep snow. I'm glad they got out to play in it when they did, because towards the end of the week it got soooo cold that there was a layer of ice everywhere!

They love trying to climb up this big hill. Its so steep and it was slippery. It took them forever just to get up it. Then they would slide down it and then do it all over again!

I love Kaity's face in this picture! Its too funny!

 Kaity got cold and came inside, but Matthew could play in the snow for hours. He doesn't care about the cold. 

He was actually sticking his whole head in the snow! I have no idea why he was doing this, but it was funny.

His whole hat was covered in snow. I don't know how he was doing that and not getting too cold!

Kaity came in and enjoyed some yummy hot cocoa! 

You gotta love hot cocoa! :)
