Tyler Update

Tyler is about 3 1/2 months old in these pictures. I can't believe how fast he is growing and developing. I love how much of a snuggle bug he is. Every morning when he wakes up and when he's done eating, I'll lay him in my bed for just a few minutes and he loves to fall asleep with our foreheads and noses touching! I just love it!

He has been doing really well on his stomach as well. He is really getting that head up there! He can't last very long, but he seems to enjoy it for a little while. Matthew and Kaity both HATED being on their tummy.

One morning he was in such a loony mood. He was making the funniest faces and sounds and kept giggling at anything! It was fun.

I took this picture to show off his profile. I love little baby profiles. With their cute little noses and round cheeks.

His new favorite thing to do, is bite/suck on his bottom lip. It is so funny to watch. It makes him look so goofy. But I love it. He's getting his own little personality.

Of course he also loves sticking out that tongue! 

Then I just added this picture because he is just so dang cute, especially when he is laughing!

Tyler's Blessing

Sunday, January 15th, 2012 Tyler got his blessing! Jeff did a great job with it. It was kind of nice that the Dr. that performed the C-section is also in our ward and he got to stand in for the blessing as well. We waited a little too long for it though and his outfit didn't really fit anymore. So he looked a little funny and I couldn't button it all the way in the back :(  But he still looked as cute as ever!

It was nice that my parents got to come down for the blessing and Cami and her girls got to come as well. Poor Mike had to stay home with a sick baby.

We all love you so much Tyler Jeffrey Bowman!!

Bumbo Time

Tyler can finally sit in his bumbo chair. He can't do it for very long because his neck starts to get a little tired, but when he does sit in it, he looks so stinkin' cute!! :)

I love his big blue eyes!

He LOVES to stand! If he had the strength for it, I'm sure he would be standing and jumping by know! That's all he wants to do it seems! :)

He is also do a very good job at laying on his tummy! He is just getting WAY to big! :) He supposed to still be my little boy!

Birthday Invitations!

I found this idea online somewhere (Can't remember where) and I thought that it was a cute idea. So I copied it! Its just baby food jars with Scrapbooking paper wrapped around it with all the information on it. Then fill it with candy. I used Skittles. Kaity's friends thought it was so neat.

3 Months Old

On January 5th, my little guy turned 3 months old! I can't believe he is that big already! I have to say that I miss him as a tiny newborn, but I love watching him grow and learn and experiencing new things! He makes me smile and laugh everyday! Probably every hour. Its also a lot of fun watching Kaity and Matthew interact with him. They love him so much! It kills them if they can't be near him or touch him or hold his hand! Tyler loves them as well. He always smiles and talks with them.

This month he weighed 13 lbs. 4 oz. and was 23 in. long. He has grown so much already! He is still growing healthy and strong and doing very well. He does have a cold right now but it doesn't get his spirits down. He still smiles and laughs all the time! :)

Ever since he discovered his fingers they have been in his mouth! I have tried EVERYTHING to get him to take a binki ever since he was born. But he will NOT take one! It looks as though he is going to be a finger sucker!

Of course Kaity and Matthew have to always be right next to Tyler. So we had to get a picture with both of them in it! :)

Penbo (Skylee)

Kaity has been having a lot of fun with Skylee, her Penbo. A Penbo is an interactive robot. She got it for Christmas from Santa Claus. It has a baby that comes out of her tummy and you can use that baby as a remote control to control Skylee and have her follow you or play games with her. She also talks with you and the baby.

Tyler's First Laugh

This was the very first time that Tyler actually laughed. Tara was saying hi to him and he just got such a kick out of her! He was doing this for quite awhile before I got my camera! I've gotten him to laugh since then, but nothing quite like this! Thanks Tara! :)

Happy New Year 2012

This is pretty much what we did all day! Matthew's new Spyro Skylanders game is actually pretty fun. Once Jeff and Matthew get started, there is no getting them off. Kaity even enjoys playing it.

We had lots of yummy food to eat. We had chips with bean dip, french onion dip, and guacamole. Summer sausage and crackers and cheese, chicken salad sandwiches, sugar cookies, muddy buddies. We had some really yummy meatballs and lil' smokies. And more! We just snacked all day!

I had them take a break from video games and play with real toys and books! I know I'm so mean! :)

Here's Kaity helping me put the clean dishes away! She climbed up there all by herself! I was a little scared, but she said that she could do it! She did great.

He loves attention

Kaity asked if she could take some pictures so I gave her the camera and let her have at it! She actually took some good pictures. They are kind of dark, but I was surprised that the pictures are actually centered. Here are a couple:

We talked to a bunch of Jeff's family members. They are finally catching up with the times and learning how to ooVoo! :)

After we put Tyler to bed, Matthew and Kaity were back on the Spyro game! You can tell that they are getting pretty tired by this point though.

While the boys were (still) playing Spyro, Kaity and I were having fun with the camera and taking turns doing silly things! I'm not posting her pictures of me, but here are some cute ones of little Kaity

Kaity wanted to take a picture of us kissing at midnight. Jeff kept trying to get Matthew out of the picture, but I think it turned out so cute!
