I don't really know what to call this one! I don't know if you can tell from the pictures (My camera sucks) but the braid is pretty cool looking! You might have to click on the picture and make it bigger! Its not just a regular braid! It was really easy too! All you do is braid a section of hair normally and then when you go all the way down as far as you can go, you hold one of the sections of the braid tightly and the other two sections you push all the way up! So that your braid is all squished! Then you kind of spread it evenly out! Then you put an elastic at the end to hold it in place! Thats it! Easy! Sorry I don't have step by step pictures, but its always just me and Kaity at home in the mornings, so I don't have anybody to take the pictures while I'm doing it! Oh well! Hope you enjoy!

Bouncey Pony!
I thought this was super cute and it took only like 5 minutes! It looks so cute when she's running around the house to, because it bounces around a lot! I would definately recommend you try this one! All you do is put the hair in a pony tail or a half pony, then you take little sections from the top of the pony and put a rubber band in it, and every time you twist the rubber band don't let it touch itself again! See, Super easy!

The Braid Pretzel!
UUGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!
I don't think we are ever going to get out of winter! This is what we woke up to this morning! You can't really see it in the photos, but its snowing hard and with really big flakes! Matthew was excited, as you can see, to walk to school in the snow! Its so crazy! I really think there is going to be snow or something on my birthday! :( I just want some warm weather so we don't have to wear coats when we go outside! Is that too much to ask?

Matthew's Artwork!
Here is Matthew's artwork that he painted today! He has learned how to do circles and he is very excited about that! So he colors them all the time! I got out my paints today to paint something and he walked up and grabbed a paint brush and a bottle of paint and said that he wanted to paint, too! So I got him all set up! Here is the final outcome! I think he did so well! Compared to how he used to do it!
Korker Ribbon!
I feel so retarded! I always loved those bows that are really curly, and I always wanted to figure out how to make those bows but I didn't know where to get that really curly ribbon! I thought you had to buy it somewhere and I could never find it! Well, I was looking around today and found a website that shows you how to make it! Go figure that you have to make it instead of buying it! Well, here's how you do it!
You get some wooden dowels that are 1/4" and are about 16"long! Then you wrap the ribbon around the dowels and put a clothes pin on the ends to hold it in place! Then place them on a cookie sheet and you bake it in the oven at 275 degrees for 25 minutes! Then you wait for it to cool and then you take it off the dowel and voila! You have your korker ribbon (that's what they're called)!
Here are my finished korker ribbon! The 4 on the bottom I used a square dowel! I thought it would be neat!
I haven't made one quite yet, but here is what they look like all finished in a bow! I'll probably make one tonight! Aren't they so neat!

Weekend Trip!
This weekend we went to Salt Lake City to visit Jeff's sister, Sarah! It was so much fun! The kids just loved the plane ride! He thought it was so cool! Now whenever you ask him about a plane he tell you that planes go "really really really really High"! They got to see a lot of their cousins there that they hadn't seen for a really long time! It was a fun trip! Thanks Sarah! We're looking forward to the Bowman Family Reunion for the fourth of July with everyone there in Salt Lake again! Should be a lot of fun! I know there are a LOT of pictures to scroll through, but I had a lot to show! So just keep looking! : )
Going to the Zoo!
I know there are a lot of pictures here but I seriously couldn't decide which ones to cut! Just be glad I didn't do them all! : ) We all decided to go to the Salt Lake Zoo on Saturday! We all loved it of course! My kids just LOVE animals!
Here is a picture of the whole group that went! It got a little crazy at times, but all fun times have some craziness in them! Total head count was 13 people! 6 Adults and 7 kids! We were out-numbered!
Here Matthew was so excited to be going on a train ride at the zoo! Its two of his favortie things! Trains and animals! What could be better! He is smiling so big!
One of Matthew's favorite things were the snakes! He loved watching them move!
Here Jeff is trying to measure up to the size of a gorilla!
Here we are on the carosel! As you can tell by Kaitlyn's smile that she absolutely loved it! She was too afraid to ride on an animal, so we sat on the peacock bench. After she saw how it worked then she wanted to do it again while sitting on one of the animals!
Random Pictures of the Trip!
We had such a good trip to Utah to see Jeff's sister! Here are a few of my favorite random pictures from the trip!
These are the two Kaities! There's my Kaity, and Jeff's sister, Sarah, also had a little girl just one month after me and she named her Katelyn and she goes by Katie also! It got pretty confusing for the two little girls for awhile! They played really cute together!
