Update!

Well, I haven't posted anything for so long because I was supposed to move last Saturday, but there was a problem with our application to our apartment so they said that we had to wait another week until we got it all situated! The only problem was that they didn't tell us that until the Friday before we were supposed to move! :( So I was completely packed up and they shut off our phone and internet! (I'm at my sister's house, using her internet right now)! So then we were supposed to move this Saturday, but we couldn't find a single U-Haul truck available on Saturday! So then we got it set up to move on Friday after Jeff got off work! So I got all repacked this morning and then got a phone call saying that we can't move into our new apartment at all now! :'( And we have to be out of our apartment on the 23rd of this month! So you can say I was a little bit stressed out! I guess saying "a little bit" is an understatement! So I found another 4 bedroom 2 bathroom with washer and dryer hook-ups, but its very old! And a lot smaller then you think that it would be! And the appliances are sooooo old! The white on them are no longer white, its yellow! :( And we had to sign up for a whole year! So I guess it gives me a year to find a better place! Lets just hope nothing else goes wrong tomorrow and we can move in tomorrow so we don't end up on the streets! So now everybody knows whats been going on with me! This was just a quick little update on whats been going on with me!

Horseback Riding!

For Matthew's birthday, a friend invited us over to ride her ponies! It was so much fun and Matthew and Kaity LOVED it! They love horses! Right when we got there we spent some time petting the horses and brushing their fur! Matthew and Kaity even got to feed them some carrots! They thought it was fun when the horses licked their hands!

Kaity wanted to ride on the bigger of the two ponies! Matthew chose the smaller one!

Before we started riding, Matthew got to walk with 'Chickadee'! He did it all by himself! He did really good, too!

We even got to trot with the ponies too, but Matthew and Kaity got a bit nervous when we went that fast!

Jeff and I even got on the ponies at the end! The saddles were very little though, so we could put our feet in the stirrups! Jeff took this pictures really low to the ground to make me look taller!

Kaity's favorite part was brushing the pony! While Jeff and I were riding 'Tad', Kaity was brushing 'Chickadee'! Kelly (Matthew's Speech Therapist) has a little boy who just turned 5 in April was there, and Matthew was off playing in the barn with him!

This would have been a perfect family photo, but Blake, Kelly's son, kept sneaking his head in the picture!

After we were done with the horses, we all got to go jump on her trampoline! The kids also loved this! They got along with Blake and their neighbor really well!

I think it turned out to be a VERY fun day for them! Happy Birthday Matthew!

Matthew's 5th Birthday!

I officially have a 5 year old little boy! I cannot believe it! I feel like it was just yesterday when he looked like this...

But it wasn't yesterday! It was FIVE years ago! And now he looks like this...

Isn't he such a handsome little boy?! Just like his daddy!

Well, if you haven't guessed it, Matthew had his 5th birthday on Sunday! We had a lot of fun during the weekend celebrating it! We went horseback riding (Pictures are coming), and we went and saw "How to Train Your Dragon" (Which is by far my favorite cartoon movie now! I loved it! The kids loved it too!) We went and played at the park for hours it felt like, and on Sunday we had his cousins and Aunts and Uncle come over for a party! We decided to have a kind of Disney theme party! We had a Shrek cake, Toy Story 3 decorations, How to Train Your Dragon gifts! All kinds of fun stuff!

In this picture he was trying sooo hard NOT to smile! So he was holding his lips a weird way trting to keep from smiling! Silly Boy!

I made him a chocolate bowl to eat his ice cream out of! You dip a small balloon in melted chocolate and then let it cool and get hard and then you pop the baloon and take it off the chocolate and there you go!

We got him this awesome dragon with 4 heads! He loves it! He's really into dragons right now!

And of course a 'red' Iron Man action figure!

And he loved his awesome army men!

Dentist Trip!

Today I took the kids to the dentist! I found a place here in Moscow that takes Medicaid and is just for kids! Its called Palouse Pediatrics Dentistry! They were all about kids and were super nice there! I was very nervous about this! I took Matthew when he was Kaity age, and we basically had to hold him down while the Dentist took a quick peek inside of his mouth! So I was sure how he would do now, and I had no idea how Kaity would do! So we talked about it a lot before we left! This picture is of them showing me what they are going to do for the dentist! Holding their mouths open really big!

Here they are in the waiting room! They had so many toys and a big screen tv that played nothing but the old school cartoons! Like the Jetsons and stuff like that! It was pretty fun!

Here are the kids getting x-rays! They had never done that before! I was very shocked that they did so good! I hate getting x-rays done on my teeth! So I didn't think that Matthew and Kaity would do very good, but they sat very still and did such a good job!

Then they took them in a big room where they had two chairs and Kaity sat in one and Matthew sat in the other and I got to sit in the middle while they worked on them! When they sat down they give you a pair of special sunglasses!

They laid the kids back and they even put a pillow under their legs and made them so comfortable and there was even a tv on the ceiling that was playing cartoons!

They both sat so still and kept their mouths open the whole time while they got their teeth scraped and brushed and washed! I'm very impressed with both of them!

And here they both are after they were all done! They did sooooo good! I had to take them to the dollar store and let them pick out a toy!

As it turns out Matthew's teeth are very close together and his jaw is set a little farther back then normal! I guess we haven't been flossing as good as we should have! He has 6 cavaties! I was completely shocked! I couldn't believe it! So we have to go back 2 more times to get him all taken care of! And Kaity is getting an over bite from sucking her thumbs! So there are a few things we need to work on with them both!

Puppy-Sitting!

My friend called me last Thursday and asked me to puppy-sit her puppy! I, of course, said yes! My kids thought that it was fantastic! They had so much fun with her! It was hard to give her back on Monday!

Bowling Time!

My parents came up for Memorial Day weekend! We had a lot of fun with them over the weekend! On Saturday we went Bowling! Matthew and Kaity LOVE bowling! Matthew won with a score of 105 and Kaity had a score of 98!

Matthew and Kaity both loved waiting for the balls to come back! Kaity scared me though because she would always get way too close! I thought the ball would come and hit her right in the face! Silly girl!
