Tara and Tamara always do the tradition of burning their letters to Santa on Christmas Eve before they go to bed so that Santa gets them as he is out delivering presents. I had never heard of this before and I thought that it sounded like fun, so we joined them.
Matthew and Kaity both wrote their own letters, all by themselves.
Then Tara helped them roll the letters up and light it on fire.
They were both pretty scared to do this but they did a great job...
Until the wind picked up and blew the fire right into Tara's face.
Then it was Kaity's turn...
She actually held it all by herself for a little while.
Until the wind picked up again and blew the fire right at them again!
Tyler and Jeff had fun watching from inside.
